Report Builder

Overview

Report Builder lets you create a full, custom report just by asking Spate AI. Instead of assembling widgets one at a time, describe what you want and the Assistant researches it, pulls the right data, and hands you a saved, editable report.

Creating a Report

1. Ask a question. Open Spate AI from anywhere and describe the report you want — for example, "Create a report on the top skincare brands in the US." You can also type your prompt directly into the composer on the Reports page.
2. Let Spate AI build it. The Assistant researches the question, assembles the relevant widgets, and delivers a summary analysis.
3. View your report. The report is saved alongside the conversation that built it, so you can see how it got there.

Editing a Report

Once a report is built, it is fully customizable:

• Arrange it your way. Reorder widgets however you like, and remove any that aren't relevant.
• Edit widgets directly. Change the data, sort column, or filters on any widget to see it your way.
• Duplicate widgets. Spin up variations of any widget in a couple of clicks.
• Add widgets. Add any additional widgets that are relevant to your report.

Staying Current

Reports built this way update automatically each week, so the report you saved last month is still current when you open it today.

Sharing Your Report

Export to PowerPoint. When you're ready to share, export the whole report to a deck. Hero slides include a per-platform stacked-area trend chart showing how a category or brand has moved over time, not just where it stands today, so you don't have to rebuild trend visuals by hand.

Do I need to build reports one widget at a time? No. Ask Spate AI for the report you want and it assembles the widgets for you. You can still edit, add, or remove widgets afterward.

Will my report go stale? No, saved reports refresh automatically every week.

Can I present a report to stakeholders outside Spate? Yes, export any report to PowerPoint, including trend charts on the hero slides.
