How To: Adjust Data Timeframes
Overview
Spate allows users to customize data timeframes for trend and brand performance analysis. Adjusting timeframes helps identify patterns, track growth, and refine strategies based on historical and projected data.
Available Timeframes
- Pre-set Intervals: Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly.
- Comparative Periods:
- Year-over-Year (YoY): Latest 12 months vs. previous 12 months.
- Quarter-over-Quarter (QoQ): Past 3 months vs. previous 3 months.
- Month-over-Month (MoM): Latest month vs. previous month.
- Week-over-Week (WoW): Views this week vs. views last week (Note: Weekly data is only available for TikTok and Instagram).
Key Metrics Definitions
- Increase in Volume: Change in average search volume over the past 12 months.
- Increase in Quarterly Volume: Change in search interest over the past 3 months.
- Increase in Monthly Volume: Change in search volume from the last month.
- Increase in Weekly Views: Change in video views week over week.
How to Adjust Timeframes
When Searching for Trends or Brands: Adjust columns or sort by timeframes in the dropdown menu.

When Viewing Time Series Graphs: Use the dropdown menu to modify timeframes.

When Looking at Related Searches or Hashtags: Adjust the columns to analyze different timeframes.
